| My 'formal' resume includes college; employment in social services; and disability activism and advocacy. At a crossroads in 1996, I revised a manual on 'How to Find a Personal Assistant', as a Vista Volunteer for an Independent Living Center. Turning to work at home, I taught myself web design and started a home business. |

| Along the way, I've been making
greeting cards and mandalas most of my adult life by hand. As my disability of muscular dystrophy has
progressed, the computer has become a powerful tool of expression. In 2006 I went through chemotherapy, mastectomy and radiation for inflammatory breast cancer. |

| In 1978, I received the gift of a mandala calendar from one of my mentors, Jean Lindmark. I was immediately drawn to them at the time and fascinated with their consciousness. I find myself gravitating toward them increasingly in my spiritual journey. |

| With assistance I live in my own apartment.
I've got 'some' katz. I enjoy visiting with friends, music, movies, writing, computing,
creating cards, sitting in the sun, plants, lilacs, and readings related to Tao and Zen.
I am particularly drawn to Pema Chodron and her writings related to Buddhism. If you do a 'search' on Amazon you'll find a lot of her books and CD's. |
|
I've been involved with 12 step programs since November 15, 1983. |
